Feels behind
I ask a simple question and Amazon Alexa reads me a web result or says it can't help. Gave up using it for anything real.

Improving steadily
Amazon Alexa handles timers, reminders, music, and smart-home controls without fuss. For hands-free use it's exactly what I want. Would recommend to a colleague.

Fine for basics
Half the time Amazon Alexa nails it, the other half it says it can't help or pulls up a web search I didn't want. Your mileage may vary.

Hit or miss
Good for the basics, but it mishears me often enough to be annoying. Privacy settings are a bit opaque too. Your mileage may vary.

Reliable around the house
Amazon Alexa has gotten noticeably better. Routines work well and it understands me even in a noisy kitchen. Worth every penny.

Feels behind
Amazon Alexa misunderstands me constantly and can't handle anything but the most basic commands. Feels years behind the competition. Can't recommend it.
