Reasoning is a step up
For research and long-form writing Gemini 1.5 Pro is excellent. Context handling is strong and the answers feel thought-through, not generic. Highly recommend.

Useful, still hallucinates
Gemini 1.5 Pro is genuinely helpful for everyday tasks, but it still hallucinates facts now and then, so I double-check anything important. Your mileage may vary.
