It's a useful assistant. The rate limits and occasional refusals are annoying, but the core quality is there.

Best model I've used for work
Llama 3 is fast and accurate for most of what I throw at it. Brainstorming, refactoring, summarizing dense docs — it just works. Highly recommend.

My daily driver for writing
Llama 3 has become part of my daily workflow. The reasoning is sharp, the writing is clean, and it rarely loses the thread on long prompts. Would recommend to a colleague.

For research and long-form writing Llama 3 is excellent. Context handling is strong and the answers feel thought-through, not generic. Would recommend to a colleague.

Genuinely impressive
