Perplexity gives me a direct answer with citations I can actually click. For research it's replaced a dozen open tabs. Would recommend to a colleague.

Replaced my Google habit
Perplexity is my first stop for research now. Fast, well-cited, and far less noise than a normal search engine. Worth every penny.

Too confident, too wrong
Felt faster than search until I started checking the sources. Too many misattributions to trust it. Can't recommend it.

Useful but verify sources
The citations are the selling point, but the summaries sometimes oversimplify. Good starting point, not the final word.
