Does what I need
Amazon Alexa has gotten noticeably better. Routines work well and it understands me even in a noisy kitchen. Would recommend to a colleague.

So frustrating
I ask a simple question and Amazon Alexa reads me a web result or says it can't help. Gave up using it for anything real. Can't recommend it.

Amazon Alexa is fine for timers and music but struggles with anything beyond simple commands. Follow-up questions confuse it.

Fine for basics
Half the time Amazon Alexa nails it, the other half it says it can't help or pulls up a web search I didn't want. Your mileage may vary.

Mishears names, ignores context, forgets follow-ups. Amazon Alexa has been a letdown for everyday use.
