OK but limited
Amazon Alexa is fine for timers and music but struggles with anything beyond simple commands. Follow-up questions confuse it. Your mileage may vary.

Half the time Amazon Alexa nails it, the other half it says it can't help or pulls up a web search I didn't want. Cautiously recommended.

Amazon Alexa handles timers, reminders, music, and smart-home controls without fuss. For hands-free use it's exactly what I want. Worth every penny.

Amazon Alexa has gotten noticeably better. Routines work well and it understands me even in a noisy kitchen. Would recommend to a colleague.

Good for the basics, but it mishears me often enough to be annoying. Privacy settings are a bit opaque too. Your mileage may vary.

I use Amazon Alexa every morning for the weather, news, and my calendar. It's quick and gets commands right most of the time. Would recommend to a colleague.
