Half the time Amazon Alexa nails it, the other half it says it can't help or pulls up a web search I didn't want. Your mileage may vary.

Fine for basics
Good for the basics, but it mishears me often enough to be annoying. Privacy settings are a bit opaque too. Your mileage may vary.

Improving steadily
I use Amazon Alexa every morning for the weather, news, and my calendar. It's quick and gets commands right most of the time. Worth every penny.

Does the simple stuff
Amazon Alexa is fine for timers and music but struggles with anything beyond simple commands. Follow-up questions confuse it.

Reliable around the house
Amazon Alexa has gotten noticeably better. Routines work well and it understands me even in a noisy kitchen. Worth every penny.
