Reliable around the house
I use Amazon Alexa every morning for the weather, news, and my calendar. It's quick and gets commands right most of the time. Would recommend to a colleague.

Does what I need
Amazon Alexa has gotten noticeably better. Routines work well and it understands me even in a noisy kitchen. Highly recommend.

OK but limited
Good for the basics, but it mishears me often enough to be annoying. Privacy settings are a bit opaque too.

Great for hands-free

Amazon Alexa handles timers, reminders, music, and smart-home controls without fuss. For hands-free use it's exactly what I want. Worth every penny.

Barely usable
I ask a simple question and Amazon Alexa reads me a web result or says it can't help. Gave up using it for anything real.

Half the time Amazon Alexa nails it, the other half it says it can't help or pulls up a web search I didn't want.
